It is funny you mention this thread because that guy actually posts here every now and then and USUALLY is nice and respectable. So much for that.

C'mon Guys,

Just commenting that he thinks the back of that car looks like a GS is not that bad is it? There are tastefully done GSs just like there are tastefully done E55s.... or not.

Please lets not cause cross-forum flame wars.

 

He (vraa) has a LS400 & his dad has a SL500. He always defends Lexus in MBworld when people there are bashing our cars. I'm not totally certain what he means by that post, but being a Lexus fan doesn't mean one has to like everything about all Lexus models - I don't. I repect all Lexus models greatly, but at least half of them don't appeal to me personally, and it should be OK to state those opinions.

No big deal I just can't see how that ugly E can be compared to the rear end of an GS.

 

I kind of see a simmilarity. Look at the rear doors, hatch/windows shape and low bumper. It resambles the lines of the GS rear end. Obviously he didn't mean it looks like a GS in detail.

I gotta vouch for VRaa, that guy is cool. He gets BLASTED all the time for defending Lexus. He loves his Ls 400. Let's not nitpick stuff.

 

Whew, I guess a lot of people took it out of proportion. I should start putting more detail into my posts!

When I said it looked like a GS, I said that because the rear apron/bumper looks like something that I see all the time, the GS. Maybe it's just me but what can I do. I never meant to say that E55 looks ugly or GS' look ugly, it was just a comment. Trust me, I'm a Lexus lover.. or was

(the was is just because of some crap service we've gotten lately, but who can complain? It's a nine year old car)

 

Seems to me like VRAA is a nice guy, his post was just mistaken.

as far as the car, the 6 exhaust pipes are retarted. makes it look soo ugly. and draws your eye to it.

 

Jesus people, god fobid anything resemble the holy grail of Lexus. Get over yourselves. It DOES look a lot like a gs in some certain ways, and the newer GS DOES look like a Maxima. So if you see anyone over on a Maxima board going "that '05 looks like a GS....... just let it go.

We know which one rides better and lasts longer
