Default My struggle with rice.

It may not be obvious exactly how much has been done to this car, but i wanted to post a few before and after shots to show what i have been through bringing it back into the loop since i purchased it from a ricer.

The original front bumper was a different style, like my 318i's front end. It had been cut out in the center and "Chicken Mesh" had been installed and painted a sloppy silver.

The entire front end was replaced with a newer model front end. New headlights, Fogs, corners, bumper, and kidney grills.

Who could forget that interior? What a lovely blue :bawl

Stripped it and went to work in many area's including a new alpine head for sound.

Now onto the side. Blue decals and "autozone" clear sidemarkers were just a few of the treats involved in bringing the car up to honda standards. (notice the chick mesh lower air dam)

Stripped the decals, added factory markers to hold it over until i decide to go with "real" clears ... should i ever.

The car has had 3 sets of wheels since, but originally came with 6 point 15 inchers on 60 series.

Currently sporting my latest addition, OZ 17's on BF's

New Headlights and corners to replace the yellow headlights and ebay clears with blue bulbs.

Added a small, tasteful wing... because i wanted to

The headliner was trashed and being held up by pushpins. A new custom suede headliner was installed. (yes, suede is a mod )

Aside of this, the car needed a new oil seal, water pump, rear seat, and misc other things that i did. Some transmission work too. All has been acomplished. (don't give me flack about the tach, it has to be hooked up to sell in this town coming out soon as i get a buyer)

It's been a long road, but the finished product is done... for now My car may not "look" modded compared to some of the fiberglass monsters rolling around, But there has been as much if not more done to this car than a lot of people's that added a set of wheels and a body kit that look more "trick" than mine does.

As we all know........ Modding is never done Nothing i have done is written in stone as a done deal, it just needed to be done.

Ahh, yes. Revitalizing a near lost cause to a tastefully, moderately modded sports sedan. Nicely done.

Thumbs up

Nice job de-rice-ing the 325i. It's amazing how much classier the car looks without all the riced-out mods...and those OZ wheels make it look so much cleaner. You never cease to prove that you're the man O.L.T.

Hey man you did a great job on that car, its amazing that car that was designed in 90 or 91 for a 92 introduction still looks so nice, especially when modded nicely. Can you imagine what a 745i is gonna look like in 12 yrs???
