Default What's the FASTEST you've driven your Lexus?

Please list the year & model.

1998 GS300 = 120 m/ph

The day I drove it home from Burbank to San Francisco I had to test the limit. It was so smooth I couldn't even feel it. I might as well have been driving 55. I've been in love since. I would like to know what you guys/girls have pushed your car to. Please list the model, I'm curious to see what numbers SC owners are putting up.

PSA - Drive safely and responsibly

EDIT: Time: I purchased the car around 9:45pm in Burbank and was on the freeway for four hours before we stopped at a hotel. There isn't much traffic in Fresno/Bakersfield around 1AM.

I was 15 miles from my house, It was 11:50 and I had to be home by 12. No one was on the road so took it up to 130, then dropped the cruise control back to 110. I have a 98 GS300 btw. It was so smooth, I agree, felt like I was going around 70.

Dolts. This car's stock suspension is just plain dangerous at those speeds. Unless you have some decent suspension mods, you are crazy to take it up to those speeds. I'm sure it felt smooth, but what would have happened if you had to avoid something in the road? Yea, I know, you would have blamed it on the GS curse as have all of the others who have wrecked their GS's going too fast.

I had to travel to Ohio to get my car. On the way back to NY on I-90 I had the SC up to a speedo indicated 140 mph. Stupid? Yes, but so enjoyable at the time.

Yes it is "dumb" to be going that fast but thats why you dont do it in the height of traffic, I stated It was 11:50 and there was no-one on the road. And, personally I woulnd't have blamed something on the GS if it was my fault.....130+ is just stupid fast in any car.

135 in the SC. Remember those MTV shows "Scared Straight"? I don't ever need one of those for speeding. That did it for me...One of the few times I actually feared for my life. So yeah, its really dumb.
