Default Why are GHETTO cars always so comfy?

I found a pic of an old Caprice SS 9C1 Police Interceptor I used to own while digging through old pics tonight. This pic was taken about 5 hours after i bought it, then 2 days later i stuck Impalla SS wheels on it, since the guy had changed the front end over to an Impalla. (pardon the pic, it's old and scratched up)

As far as i can remember back, it was one of the most comfy cars i have owned. It seems like the most ghetto of cars are the most comfortable for some reason. Has anyone else had a comfy ghettomobile before? (car actually looked ok after i took his flags and wheels off of it)

1979 Cadillac Seville
Woah, small world...

1976 Cadillac Seville ( I owned it many years ago) & 1978 Seville here, my mother still drives the '78 , it's comfy and it's a tank. I feel like she's got some solid protection around her if she's in an accident. (Actually I pity the person that hits her).

1977 Chevy El Camino and later, a 1979 Oldsmobile 88 Diesel.

Big, floaty, underpowered and overweight barges. Kinda fun in high school, though.

Any of those older American cars with the big sofa type seats in them are always pretty comfy...I just hate the ones with vinyl seats.

However those big, cushy cloth seats were bad about holding farts. Leave one on the seat and come back 2 hours later and it attacks you.
