Or an "M" on a Civic
AC Schnitzer on a Civic
A ricer is basically a poser that can only afford to put stickers on thier cars instead of the actual parts.
JDM badging on a car that actually has a JDM equivalent is not rice.
LS400 = Celsior
Civic sedan = Ferio
3000gt VR4= GTO
Miata= Eunos roadster

Those in Japan are similar to us in the USA.. they like to badge their cars as Lexus as we like to badge ours as Toyota. It's different and leads to the imagination.. but the point being, it's all the same.

Jdm isn't ricey. Putting emblems which don't belong like aristo on a usa gs, is a taste but not ricey, just opinion. My point is good enthusiats can use what the car is and potential to make it better. Even putting lorenzos on a gs, can yes be in good taste. On this one, it look sleek, and goegrous. It's all if you know what your doing.

This may be categorized as ricey. The riciest gs,
And oh yeah, JDM badging is A-OK in general. As long as it's in the correct location.

I think it is ricey. I am one of those people that don't like badges at all. I have 1 badge on my car, the rest is shaved.
The only classy badges I have seen to date were one of the Abflug's and also side badges on Coach Edition LS400 and that SportDesign GS. Those large letter chrome letter badges don't look too classy to me for some reason.

If you want the JDM badges on the car, no objection from me.
My preference has been to remove badges from my cars. The enthusiast will recognize the car so IMO it doesn't matter. Besides, having to wax around those things is a PITA and if you keep a car a long time, it is part of the maintenance to remove the faded peeling badges for new ones every so many years.
If you have a car with multi engine options, it is an easy way to have a sleeper. A casual goer who pulled up to a non-badged E55 would be in for a heck of a surprise.
