Daddy bought a new toy.
Well, this isnt an april fools joke. I decided i wanted a caddy so i found one today and talked to the salesman long enough to make him go from 6k to 5k and bought it. I have family with these and i have heard no complaints so hopefully i'll have good fortune with it. My new toy It's only got 80k on it, so hopefully it will last a while. I have never had a caddy and i wanted something sporty.
(yes i still have the bimmers and the lex)

Congrats, just what you need to round out the fleet. But wait, that's the Caddy that doesn't even look like a Caddy! When I opened this, I thought we were going see your Daddy burning the tires off another Camaro (or was it a Chevelle?).

Lol. Camaro SS i believe it was. Dad's got his own toy's. I am getting to be an old man and all my cars are sports cars *so to speak* ( all non- luxury). This car reminded me of the Lex in a lot of ways ( heavy feel, heavy doors, tan leather interior, digital climate controls), but at a non Lexus price. I figure i will end up selling the 318i, and keeping the Sc400, the 325i, and the Caddy. The Sc is my "get there and get back" car, the 325i is my "we are going to the mountains' car, and the Caddy can be my cruiser. It has a real heavy feel to it so it rides good. The suspension is soft on it and it has a slow, smooth aceleration pattern ( slow compared to my sc400) . So i believe it will fill my need for something comfy just fine. If nothing else i can re-sale it since they go for about 6.5k ( slightly above book, mind you) locally because people seem to like them in this area.
