I am not crazy about its rear end either. But hopefully the rear spoiler will help. Would like to see a pic of it.

I hope they make a smaller and subtle one, unlike the one that comes with the G35 sedan.

My G35 coupe has the factory spoiler which comes as standard with the 6MT coupe in Canada. I still think the coupe looks better with the spoiler than without, but I prefer the smaller and subtler one available aftermarket.

WTF???? I just went. The V-8 RWD SPort is now starting at $50, 800 I just got it loaded to $59,000.
The V-8 is now $47,900
THe AWD V-6 is $44,300
The V-6 sport is now $45,100
THe V-6 is now $42,400

This is what it was YESTERDAY

V-8 starts at $44,500, the V-8 sport $47,200. I got it to 53k loaded. GREEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAT buy, IMO.

V-6 starts at $39,200, the V-6 sport $41,900 and the AWD V-6 $41,200.

Infiniti needs to get off their high horse and price it under the competition. People won't buy a evenly priced Infiniti.

A bit generic looking but much better than the obtrusive shape from Infiniti.

I don't wanna sound like an Infiniti proponent, but...

Let's be fair... Don't forget that the loaded M45 has quite a few big-ticket options that aren't available in the "loaded" GS (and not mentioned in the release of even the new GS)--heated reclining rear seats (which also includes controls for climate, audio and rear sunshade, and entry/exit assist), climate-controlled seats, DVD entertainment system, Aero Dynamic Body Kit...and it also comes standard with a 7-inch display with Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
The "base" M45 Sport models are priced higher because it comes standard with HID, climate controlled seats and 19" wheels. All of these are either optional or not available on the base GS.

So while Infiniti, with their less-than-fully-established nameplate, could've undercut the competition in pricing to quickly gain more market share, it's fair that they price the car for what it is--a more loaded car than the competition.

Who knows? Sick
If the price went up on today maybe next week it will go back down. The IT guys were probaly tracking how many hits the m45 got on yesterday. But we'll see. No matter what it's nice ride.

Apples to orange, a luxury cruiser vs. a driver's car. Love both of them and find them enjoyable for different reasons. Luxury & built quality of Lexus is still unmatched but the Infiniti is more fun to drive aggressively particularly in twisties.

As for service, it's difficult for me to gauge the differences between the 2 , because I ' ve had zero significant problems with both cars except the armrest buzz with the ML stereo with the Lexus, which was fixed in my first scheduled service. They' ve also patched a nail damaged tire for me under warranty.Lexus service rep's are always polite, helpful & courteous.
My Infiniti has only 4000 km on it now & it's not even up for the first scheduled service yet.

They've been hearing ALL our praises and adjusted pricing!

They did the same thing with the QX56. When it finally came out, the prices were actually LOWER than the prices posted on their website. THey are just to guage reaction. THat is all. Hence the feedback section of the site. I suggest everyone utilizes that. I did. I asked for smaller taillights and a manual...and no change to anything else
