No way
No....absolutely NOT ! They can toss this one in the trash. We DON'T need any more electronic safety nannies. We DO need drivers that learn to PAY ATTENTION to what they're doing.
It's interesting to note that many of the well-publicized problems with many of the newer M-B products that have them spending so much time in the shop have been with the electronics and the brake-by-wire systems.

Even though M.B. is the inventor/leader in this "Short Range Radar" eventually all the manufactures will be offering this as an option in the U.S.A.
It's not just an epidemic problem with M.B. drivers not knowing how to drive.
I'd agree with the M.B. electronic problems though.

This Mercedes innovation not electronics related
I always think Lexus paint job is clearly superior to those of Mercedes, with the possible exception of the Designo custom paint. I think Lexus should offer something similar in the future.
