Rode in my friend's 04 STi recently, one fast AWD. I would pick the STi because it is slightly faster than the EVO, like the styling of STi and the optional BBS wheels.

 

Easy choice: EVO!

Sti's styling:

 

as a daily driver? Id say STI

Both are AWESOME

 

I'd pick STI. It just looks a little better to me, especially interior.

 

I like the STI. Something about the altezza's on the evo make me hate it.

 

If I didn't own a Lexus, F body or Typhoon, I would own a Subaru.

agree on the sti interior---> coz it's got pink on the gauge

i see there's a daily driver factor into the game now, what's the diff.
i understand sti is slightely larger. but evo8 will have leather recardo and sun roof! (cooolness)

personally i like evo's exterior better. i mean sti is cool too. that's why we r having this poll :::)))

 

i voted for Evo 8 since i love them
but every pieces of interior screams CHEAP except for recaro racing buckect seats. seriously tho.
i dont really like the styling of the STi but the interior is way better than evo's
i just wish that toyota should start making those pockect rockect based on Avenisis platform with 3S-GTE or may be 2JZ-GTE (no i m not talking about scion tc here)

 

i m a bit biased, if acura ever imported DC5 Type R (RSX R) into state, i wouldnt ever look at those evo or sti. i know type R is not as fast as Evo nor STi, but gotta love K20A N/A power.

id choose Evo 8 cuz it's gonna be my next car and i think it has a cleaner look......the STI i think looks too aggressive and overdone......performance-wise is but i'll still choose the evo

 

I'd go with the US spec STI because of the bigger engine.

 

I voted STI cause the only thing Mitsu can make well is big screen TV's.

 

Remember that the is300 and RX330 both come with ALtezza style tails.
I wouldn't say it makes them look bad.

Plus I'll take the Atezza's over those DORKY headlights on the STi.
