Yeah, torque figures (like hp figures) are usually given at their maximum to give the car the best image possible. Both the 55 MB AMGs and this new M5 make max torque at low RPMs, but for the AMGs, its over 500 lb-ft!!! Same goes for the 600 series Benzes. That's what you like to hear.
