Post Last Oldsmobile to drive off assembly line...

Last Oldsmobile to drive off assembly line... Interesting, didn't know that GM was doing this. But I don't really pay attention to Olds anyway.

Not to sound mean, but finally. Who would buy an old-mobile anyway? Just look at the name. When will Buick be next? Did any of us 40 and down run out and buy a Buick when Tiger was sponsored one? I believe Mercury should be next also. Chevy/GMC will stay for the Corvettes and Yukons. Any other next in line?

The aurora is actually a somewhat decent car (provided you dont get the first few years, when reliability was absolutely horrendous)

The olds 4.0 liter V8 actually had nearly the exact same specifications as the first generation lexus V8, basically the car was designed to effectively combat lexus and infiniti, which it obviously failed to do so.

Funny but I thought Oldsmobile's product line was not GM's worst. At the time, Pontiac, Buick were worse to me. The Aurora was not bad in both gens, one of GMs best cars.

But seeing Oldsmobile go is like seeing grass get cut on the lawn. Who cares.

And one more thing, what the hell is up with lincoln? Man, their cars SUCK !! All they have in their entire fleet is an underpowered boat the towncar, and a little luxury sedan the LS that doesnt have anywhere near as much power as its foreign competitors. Need I mention both are legendary in breaking?

Ever since the continental and Mark series was discontinued, nothing remotely good has come out of lincoln. They should have been exterminated before oldsmobile.
