I would never purchase a Kia or Hyndai auto either. I love Lexus and will stay with the brand for many years to come. I just couldn't get over the fact that this boat like Amanti achieved a level of comfort and quietness only thought to be done by the LS430.

Modders: Is it possible to take 2004 LS30 Seats and put them into a 2003 0r 2004 LX470? With all of the options intact? Massage/heated/cooled?

Isn't it understood that the LS is the quietest car in the world?
I refuse to believe the Kia comes close.

I do agree Korean cars have greatly improved in the last few years.
They are probably the best initial deals out there.
However, Hyundai's and especially Kia's are still the lowest quality
cars being built. This doesn't mean they're that bad, but all makes build
high quality vehicles these days even if it seems like they may have a lot of problems.
Just remember that todays cars have way more things in them that can go
wrong, particulary with electronics, compared to cars from the past.

A new BMW or Benz may spend more time in the shop when they're new,
but that doesn't mean that a Hyundai Accent is better built. Just check out both
cars after 12 years.

remember what you paid is what you get, so cant complain.
i think their quality and craftmanship is improving drastically over these years.
