I guess Im one of the lucky ones.......... $1.68 92+ octane. We only have one type of gas & diesel.

The prices stay the same thru out the yr. Every year on Oct 1st is the only time they change the price. Benifits of working on a military base. No Im not in the Military

Paid $2.35 per gallon for 91 at a Chevron station today in Diamond Bar. I spend about $35 bucks everyitme I go to the gas station. Especially lately it's been so hot so I leave the climate control on at about 68 degrees and that sucks up extra gas. Not good.

I do the same thing too in my car, setting the A/C temp always at 68 deg in warm temps. The climate control system in the ES sedan is very top-notch

Sorry for the hijack..

You know gas in SoCal used to be a bit cheaper than NorCal but recently the gap has gotten smaller. What I find interesting is that Chevron/76 costs a premium over Arco here in NorCal but when I'm down there, they are almost the same.

Sunoco has "Ultra 94" here in Mass and I'm sure many other states
get this. I usually just stick with the 93 though.

Question:
California has by far the most exotics and other high end cars in the US and they
require premium fuel; yet only regular and medium grade is available. People
are forced to put only mid grade gas in their Fararri's and Lamborghini's?

I just paid $2.37/gallon for 89 aka medium or plus... whatever it is. Geez. It's not even the best of the three gases.

First time in a long time in GA that the premium hit $2.00. I think Lexus make a right move on their Hybrid SUV and then every car in Lexus line will have Hybrid as an option by 2006 or 2007.
At Detroit's Auto show, almost every car manufacturer have their Hybrid version to show. Even the MB got the Hybrid, but only 50 kilowatts, while Lexus is 600 kilowatts. So, Lexus is way ahead on the Hybrid technology than the competitor.

Heres the way I see it...

Gas used to be about $1.89 and I was fine paying it. Now its at $2.06 and everyone is unhappy about it. My gas tank holds 17 gallons. Thats a diffrence of 17 cents a gallon or $2.89 a complete fill. $2.90 is skipping wendys/mcdonalds once. I drive alot of it dosn't seem to bother me.
