Angry stolen wheels: L.A. $300 reward

Last night someone broke into my car and stole a set of 19x9 19x10 manaray ms-6. They had dunlop 245/19/35 tires on the front (bad camber wear) and yokohamas (about 75%) 265/19/30 on the back. The offset was for a supra, but they had like 5mm spacers on the back so they would fit sc and gs. They were all recently polished, and i don't believe you could get them that way from the dealer, so they shouldn't be too hard to spot. $300 REWARDto the person who helps me catch these SOBs. IF ANYONE SEES THEM PLEASE GET THE LICENSE PLATE # AND LET ME KNOW (253) 2241033. I had these wheels for 3 DAYS!!! Damn im so pissed!! This happened in L.A. Korea town so i'm betting theyre not too far away. Thanks.

man, I'm really sorry for your loss. This just plains sucks. I was watching these wheels in the Classifieds for the longest time. That aside, there are enough CL members all over Cali that someone will be able to spot these, no doubt about it. I wish you the best of luck.

Kind of ironic that they were stolen just as you bought them because I know they just sold not even a week ago.

I'd be suspicious.

The guy i bought them off of had no way of knowing where i lived. He is also a really nice guy, so i highly doubt it was him. The wheels were in the back of my suv, in a gated parking garage, so i think it was someone in the apartments. I think i have an idea of who it was, but no proof. I really hope they turn up.

oh no, I'm not saying him at all. I talk to him frequently and he's a real nice guy.

I'm saying possibly someone was watching these on the boards and turned up something.

OIC...my bad. Yeah mike is a really cool guy. I think it was someone in my apartments because there is no way to get in unless you have a key. hopefully they're dumbasses and try to sell them on ebay or to some guy down the street.

Dear Lord:

May the souls of these thieving bastards eternally burn in piles of smoldering **** in the depths of hell.

Amen

Some people are just out of their minds. I'd check up on eBay ASAP. Either way, good luck man -- nobody deserves to have anything stolen, period.

I guarantee the dumb people who stole them don't even know what kind of wheels they are, just that theyre big and shiney.

"Cool lookin big shiney wheels for sale. Rubber tires. Happy bidding"

edited for language. Keep it clean please, I know you're mad but there is no reason to subject everyone else to your cursing

Check craigslist.com for LA and recycler.com.

That's not cool. I'm in Ktown, so I'll definitely keep an eye out. Those wheels would be pretty rare around here, so if anyone slaps them on their car I'll be on it.
