ferrari... most desirable car on the planet?

If money, maintenance, weather, reliability, cargo space, crime/vandalism/theft, passenger space was no issue, I'd would probably choose a Ferrari 360 Spider Convertible. Although I would also have to consider the Bentley Azure Convertible, Bentley Continental GT Coupe, and the Rolls Royce Phantom.

Depends on the model. The Enzo is the Ferrari I won't consider even after winning a $multimillion lottery. I'll take a Carrera GT, a Vanquish or a F360 Spyder.

Ferrari is the most desired brand because it is well-known. Similar to other "desired" brands such as Channel, LV, Gucci, etc.
Anybody knows what this car is? I would take this over a Ferrari

I believe Ferrari is to sports cars as Mercedes Benz is to luxury cars. As we all know MB may not necessarily be the best, but by name and status it defines its class. There are hyper exotic luxury cars (Bentley, Rolls Royce, Quattroporte howeveryouspellit) and there are more sensible alternative that arguably beat it, a la LS430. Ferrari is no exception. I'd call Porsche the BMW's of sports cars. This is just my opinion. MB maybe the standard of the industry and the most desired (since it is mainstream). But being the most desired does not make it the best. Even though it might just be. . . or maybe not. I'm not going to start a debate.

The car I most desire is the Aston Martin DB9. I know there are faster cars, and more luxurious one, but to me its the perfect balance (not to mention its so damn beautiful) =)

I would definitly take that Vanquish over that Ferrari... Sure the F50 is more powerful, but I'll take the beauty of the Vanquish over the power and kinda ugly styling of the F50.. although it certinly isnt the ugliest ferrari ive seen (cough cough.. enzo)
