No left turn at the light heading North on Newport Coast Drive that day? Just be careful when you do travel that because Newport Beach Police Motorcycle Cops are constantly parked around the curves with laser guns waiting to nail excessive speeders heading North as well as South back to PCH.
You probably know that already.

it's funny, this weekend i saw two ferarri in a matter of 10 mins... i went to ikea at stanford and as i got back on the freeway i saw a red spider (i think), but as soon as i got on the freeway for couple of exits, i saw another 360 spider getting off the freeway!!!!!! damn i almost fainted....

That long coastal route you guys have in CA is beautiful...no doubt about it. I notice it is the setting for a lot of car ads. The only road we have in this part of the country that is comparable is the Skyline Drive / Blue Ridge Parkway that runs along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains for some 600 miles from Northern Virginia down to the Great Smokies in NC / TN.

Gated shifter
Also, as far as Ferraris go, that gated shifter is an excellent idea...it helps to avoid hitting the wrong gear and maybe frying the engine. I've wondered for a long time why more stick-shift cars didn't have either a gated shifter like that or at least a light on the dash showing what gear you're in so there's no guesswork on shifts.
