I am a member of maxima.org, know quite a few people there. Very cool group in Atlanta.
Concerning the new Maxima, being built in Tennessee, it seems to have many quality issues. Of course many people are happy with their purchase but many very disapointed.
I noticed it is attracting new buyers, not the usual Maxima faithful. But they are dealing em now, you can get a good deal on a MAx for 26k, way under the asking price.

Well, not only the quality issues, but in my opinion it is a BUTT-ugly car...they should have kept the old one.
Not only was the old one a nice, attractive, well-built , and well-finished car, but so especially was its Infiniti version, the I35

Just be prepared to deal with a bunch of power hungry moderators and alot of idiot users / rice boys.
As for the new look, I like it. It is real nice looking and it does display some characteristics of the new GS so I wouldn't be hating on it that much.

hi, well, its not really my choice. its gonna be her car. we drove the new accord, tsx, infinity g35, is300. she really likes the power of the maxima..and the overall room. i have to admit, i was surprised by the interior space. there is a lot of room. im not completely sold on the actual interior trim though. it is so jagged, and not all that appealing...especially the center console. it has 2 rows of buttons... and the gauges are a ugly orange.
BUT....she likes it. hehehehe...wat can u do?
