traffic camera tickets ? help

got a ticket in the mail, it shows me running a red light for the turning lane. my question is : is there any way to get out of it? anyone have experience dealing with this? any loop holes? they got 4 angles, it was barely turning red when i shot thru the interesection? please help. thanx

If you think that the yellow light was too quck (I think 4 seconds is usually the norm) then you can dispute it. The city would have to prove that their light met that ammount of time.

Some states will drop the matter if you go to court and sign an affadavit swearing that you were not the driver at a the time. That is why it is usually only a fine and not reported to your insurance...there is almost no way to prove who was driving at the time.
Of course, in your case, that may or may not involve a deliberate lie...depending on whether you were driving or just riding in the car as a passenger....or lent the car to someone. That, of course, is an ethical concern that only you can address.
