You're not the only one that thinks the SLR nose is ugly. But look at the back of the car!!! TRI EXHAUST EACH SIDE!!! Thats 6 pipes!!! CRAZY!! I never thought something like that could find its way on a Benz. I guess you could cover that nose up with a bra. Despite the ugly nose I STILL lust after a SL.

The black car in the pitures is a demo car for a Dutch mercedes tuner and the silver car is from lotec (a german tuner) and I think they make the SLR conversion nose for the SL.
It's a shame there isn't a BS flag to raise.

I don't think it's that bad though.
Perhaps I am a bit slow in catching up on the news, but why do people hate everything about the SLR on other Benz models?
Maybe Chris Bangle has numbed my taste in car styles. I actually think the SLs don't look all that bad.

At least I hope not in this case. I don't care if they do it to the new SLK, since I never care for the current SLK anyway, but I don't want to see them spoil the nice front end of the SL.

I completely like the front of the slr. This does not look terrible but it's not working really well imo.
Should make the current sl more of a keeper...if this really happens. As someone else said, autospies has been off quite a bit.

Nah, i'm definitely not feeling that. The hood "nose" protrudes down into the grille and just looks god awful. The current SL looks excellent and should just get minor changes, definitely not that.
