I think it'll be pretty tough to get a flat on those tires. I guess it's possible if you run over a pointy fire hydrant.
But man, if you stop at a redlight, can you even see the car in front of you?

BTW, are those auto-leveling lights? I wonder how they're aimed?
To tell you the truth, I think it'll be awesome if I had something like that on the weekends to drive around in. You definitely get lots of attention.

What does that get, 8 mpg?

How are trucks like these legal to drive on the street?
A rear ending in that truck would much resemble a monster truck rally except it's a free show for everyone on the road except the corpses in the victim car.
Don't even want to ponder getting t-boned by that monster.
It's a damn nice truck tho, lol. Just don't want it anywhere near me on the street.

When I was little, our family got hit by a jacked up GMC -- he missed our rear bumper, and took out the entire rear gate of our caravan instead.
I'm sorry, but jacked up trucks like that remind me of juiced highschool jocks -- big and stupid. Where are you going to drive that thing? If you take it off road, that's cool, but to drive it around on the street? you could run over a kid chasing a ball and never see him.
...and from the front plates, I'm guessing that's street legal too.
Where is the need to drive 5 feet up in the air?

High horsepower doesn't make the car more dangerous. It's still within the crash safety standards it was designed for. A 100 hp Civic and a 500hp SL500 have to meet the same crash safety heights and standards. HP doesn't kill people. Irresponsible driving does. You can die just as easily in that grocery getter just as easy as your 150k Benz. It's all about the mistakes you make driving it.
This jacked up truck is totally different. It's bumpers are useless. It's braking performance is reduced no matter how you slice it. You think stopping that truck is easy with those big a$$ tires? The wheels look too small to fit anything in there designed well enough to stop it. (I hope it has some sort of bigger brakes.)
Accidents happen. It's just nice that when they do, bumpers hit bumpers like they are supposed to. That's what they are designed for. But when front diffs hit rear windows, people die.
And you don't see these big trucks "smashed up" on the side of the road because what other car will smash it? It will easily run over just about any passenger vehicle, destroy it, and get home before dinner.
You may also argue about big rigs. Well you need a special license for that, and it's mostly commercial. The truck is in the hands of someone trained to drive something that size and is familiar with how it handles. They spend most of their time on freeways anyway.
But a lifted truck like this anyone can build and drive down your street where your children play.
Maybe it's hard to see the safety issue here but when one of these monsters gives you a front axle to the temple, you'll see. And when you can wipe out an entire family with your "toy" your conscience will be the least of your worries when you get the lawsuit of your life.
Just some thoughts (admitedly worst case just for argument's sake). I mean I love the truck, I just don't like the idea of it used it on the street. JMHO. A truck like this can do a LOT of hurt to a standard passenger car and it's occupants.
