Test Drove? I'm driving it now.
I haven't even been able to sit in my dream cars:
1986 Ferrari Testarossa,
1997 Ferrari 355F1,
2002 360 Modena.

Here's the latest car I test drove. Well actually, that was yesterday
2004 BMW 745Li
This test drive event is part of a nationwide breast cancer fund (Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation). Go here for more info: http://www.bmwusa.com/theultimatedrive
The first thing I noticed when I stepped inside the car was the enormous setup of buttons and controls. I was overwhelmed to say the least. This was almost my first experience with the iDrive function. It's not really my cup of tea (i.e. confusing, and I don't see how it makes driving a "different" experience), but it sets itself apart from the other automotive navigational systems.
The nicest features I found was the butt massager (very useful on those long road trips) , and the amazing acceleration on the highways (floored it a couple times, and it got up to 90-95 MPH in no time). Overall, the 745 is an excellent vehicle, but I have to say that the advanced technology implemented is too much to grant the 745 as an "ultimate driving experience". IMO BMWs are designed for the driver to actually control the driving, and not from dozens of computer and electronic gadgets (e.g. iDrive).
EDIT: Wow I didn't notice I hit the 3,000 post mark!

2004 Acura NSX-T. I bought one 3 weeks later. I couldn't sleep after that test drive and still can't believe I got one. I know it's not a super car in 0-60 etc. but to me it's amazing. It's built well and has some everyday functionality. I loved me SC430 too, though. That is a great car as well.

And my favorite of the ones I've driven, a Ferrari 360 Challenge car- one seat, no carpet, lots of noise...
I actually drove this car down the Las Vegas strip briefly... on Pirelli slicks! Waaaay illegal!
