Default ha ha ha

read on the evolutionm.net forum that the evo MR is coming this september as an 05 model.
some mitsu owners are not too happy about how the company keeps pushing out new products within such short time period. they feel like they are being cheated coz now they gotta get the latest, fastest models. ( i know guys, it's not like there's a gun held and pointed to their head)

while i look forward to the MR, i'm also being reserved about it.
(i'm still hoping the gauge cluster would be as cute as the sti's)

With all the problems the Mitsubishi brand is having, it makes me wonder why they keep pushing out these new models.

Whatever floats their boat I guess.

The Evo MR will be even more of a hard-edged car than the current Evo VIII model....and it will be stripped-down inside to get the weight down, so like the Subaru STi, it will not have a stereo system and some other frills. I think even the A/C will be taken out of some models.
At this point, though, I don't know if I'd give any hard-earned money to this company.....it seems to be run by a bunch of crooks. The CEO and some of top management are under arrest in Japan for allegedly lying to the public about safety defects and covering up serious problems in its vehicles. in fact, here in America they've just introduced a 10 yr / 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty like the Korean companies to try and bolster public confidence again.

hi adidas, i love both the sti and the evo. i love the golden broze rims and the pink sti in the speedometer. for evo, it's the adjustable hid, leather(option), sunroof, and the aggressive look of the car.

why would u take sti over evo any day of the week?

Thanks adidas, it really will help the entire forum and require less work of the moderators in fixing poorly worded titles if folks like talgrl would take just a few seconds when they're posting to think of a good title (and then type it in ).

i am with you bro!
i just read the euro car magazine of this month issue and reading about WR1 STi and i was so jealous of those european. that's tuned limited edition WR1 goes 0 to 60 in4.25 seconds and quarter mile in 12.8 second. plus it is the rally spec 2.0 liter with 316bhp, not 2.5 one we get here. only 500 units will be made and priced at 29,995.

the coolest thing is it has the driver controlled center differential!

Oh, oh of course

Somebody I know has an Evo around here (small town) and I see it driving at night with that nice intercooler showing ... always a sight to me.

I got an Evo in my shop rite now also a regular Lancer. Honestly, the Evo has the cheapest interior i've ever seen. Even the $15000 Lancer has better dash guages. Evo costs an extra $20000 more than a regular Lancer.......and u're paying for just that motor, brakes and all-wheel-drive

But, what the cow.......that Evo is VERY FAST though.............but i still won't dump +$35000 for that kind of car. Hmm.........maybe i'm getting to old

One of the kids in my class got an Evo VIII thinking that Mitsubishi will stop production or something. So I'm like what happens if they put in a 6 speed, and he's like that would suck (for him).
