doesn't that **** anyone off? someone with the chance of a lifetime to have their cars pimped out (though i wouldn't wanna drive that thing), just goes and throws it away by selling it.

There should be a rule against doing this. The kid is only trying to make money after MTV was nice enough to take his piece of crap and fix it up for him.

I hope MTV finds out and has a clause in the contract to stop it.

this is just so wrong, but i was wondoring when someone was going 2 do this. i hated this one the most anyway as far as what they did. they should have the kids sign something saying that if they sell it in the 1st year after is "modded" , that thye have 2 give al the parts back or money or something

I would sell the POS too! Let's face it........ West Coast Customs does some very unqiue work but it's not for the everyday driver. The paint job looks very tacky, the black and yellow interior would get old to look at after awhile, and the motor has 150,000 miles on it. I did watch that episode and noticed that all the DJ equipment in the back is now gone. Hopefully he's putting that to good use....

it's a shame that they put all the work and money into that worthless car, and now he's trying to make money out of it.
if it was up to me i would repaint it a single color, transfer some of the electronics to my lexus, and keep the datsun/maxima for the sole purpose of a winter beater, but i will tint the windows darker so no one will see me.
it would also be very tempting to just tub it, get some sticky micky thompsons, and any engine with 900hp and have some fun, so at least when you get laughted at for having a ugly ****ty *** car you can say " at least my ****ty *** car can run 8's"

i don't see what the big deal about selling it is. if MTV ever took my car and did something like that to it, i'd first throw a hard object in the general direction of them, then i'd be selling it as fast as i could. i'd then take the money and put it into other projects, like ones that i wouldn't mind being seen in.
