Thumbs down ((4 PICTURES)) - Porsche 996 Twin-Turbo crash in Taiwan

A brand new Porsche 911 (996) Trubo crashed in Taiwan today and dig this, the headline of the news is "SO WHAT I'M RICH."

According to the news: "¡K¡K..The owner of this Porsche was showing off to his friend by driving recklessly along the mountain road at the speed of over 110mph, he overturned the car and crashed; walked away with minor injury¡K¡K¡K¡K¡K.. The cost of this car in Taiwan is USD $220,000.00, and the owner plans to spend USD $100,000.00 to fix¡K¡K..."

I say "Poor Car!" if you ask me.

Any thoughts on this?

since this was in taiwan, i assume the driver wasnt that tall. good thing cuz that crash sure did decrease the headroom in that 911.

My thoughts- Money cant buy you common sense and it certainly will not buy you good judgement.

To people who buy these cars and think they own the road

I'd rather see half destroyed supercars that has been pushed like they were supposed to rather then be stuck behind one doing 60 in fast lane.

wow. i'm in taiwan right now. ha i guessed i missed the report. i'm sure it must of been in taipei. i don't know how many 996 twin turbo's there are here, especially yellow, but all i know is that my neighbor used to have a yellow 996 twin turbo. i've seen this car around recently too. what a small world. i know it's not my neighbor. too much of a baller. got a different car everytime i come back. started w/ the porsche, then had an sc430 during the winter, and now he's got the 745 w/ 19's.
having a porsche in taiwan is the stupidest thing ever. there's no place to speed and there's traffic everywhere.

nonono, he said that he was going to spend 100k to mod the car before it was crashed. when first quoted he said it in presense tense. but now it could all be in past tense coz' it's not going to happen
