Yes, it is a factory installed AMG badge, I guess it was an option if you had the AMG kit and wheels. I meant to take it off a while ago, but never got around to it.

Looks nice...and great wheels... alot better than the one i saw today with spinners.
didn't know the factory puts amg badge on a 430 but it makes sense if it came with the kit and wheels.

Having been a long time owner of Mercedes which has included a CLK 430 and presently a 2004 CLK 55, I can assure you that the AMG badge on a 430 was not installed by the factory. The AMG badging was only on AMG modified cars.
I know that "preference" is extremely personal but having owned both generations of the CLK there is no comparison between the first generation and the present CLK series. Performance aside, build quality, quality of materials and improvements in every area are significantly better in the new version.

Ah man I absolutley love the old body style of the CLK. It is so hot and sexxy looking. I was close to getting that or my gs but chose gs for reliability because I put so many miles on my cars. Have you ever had any problems with it??
The supra isn't a targa top and is a right handed driver???

It is not something I would have done, but like I said, it came on my car.

Very nice car, I think the CLK will stand up as a timeless looker! nice wheels. it looks like you are running a really low springpad in the front (like a 1) but a higher one in the rear (3-4?) perhaps change the rear spring pad to bring it down a litle. Very nice car and wheels (i'm partial )
