very cool I like it.

Now we just have to wait and see if the engine and tranny on this car can live up to the image

I hope they're not going to lie about the time it takes to drop the top like they lied about the horsepower

Talking

..................................................................
Toyko, Japan-

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) filed a lawsuit today against Korean auto manufacturer Hyundai. Toyota alledges that Hyundai shamelessly raped the design of the recently-released Scion tC, a coupe manufactured by Toyota.
..................................................................

Just kidding. But that thing does look decent. Hyundai is going places.

Looks like a poor man's SL500!

And according to the latest quality info, the Hyundai will have
less problems than a Benz. Who would've thought?

Yes and my butt crack is the same as the Grand Canyon. I don't think so.

Wow, I too am shocked. The Tiburon hard top was a huge step up from the bubble, bug-eyed old Tiburon. It really has a Maserati feel to me, but I gotta say, just a drop top wouldn't make me choose this over a Scion tC. I was never overly excited about the coupe Tiburon when I saw it like when I saw the tC. Plus, the Scion has Toyota reliability, while even though great, the Hyundai is playing catch-up.

Really like it, and yes, it should do excellent!

WOW! This car looks like everything a baby SC430 should have been! If only Toyota ever made something like this, it could have taken a huge portion of the miata market.

They have the solara, That is the most identical styling to the sc430 if i have ever seen one. But i agree, That Hyundai looks pretty hot for that price tag..

i've driven the 6-speed tiburon... it's not slow... corners like a wet seal on jagged rocks though.

and it's Hyundai....

The front does take some getting used to.. but i like everything else. I say good job...

I read the reliability survey on the hyundai's.... they are climbing fast. Most complaints were about the cheap interior pieces falling apart.... not the mechanical prowess of the engine or tranny.

its still FWD; one of things i like so much about the SC430 is that its RWD with a V8... not some weak detuned V6 (180hp? come on!)

i know thats apples to oranges;but people keep mentioning SC430 vs this car.... they arent even inthe same league

vs the miata, i'd still rather have the miata; its also rwd and very light

The problem with the solara is that it is a soft top convertable, plus the marketing for that car is weak IMO.
