Don't be surprised at ANYTHING you see from Hyundai nowadays. In fact, in the Korean market they sell a $40,000 V8 luxury car comparable to the LS430 in size, looks, and features, if not in quality, ....the Equus.
One was displayed at the Washington, D.C. Auto Show, ( I saw it ) but the Hyundai officials were uncommitted about the American market for this car.
A smaller brother to the Santa Fe.....the Tuscon.....will be introduced here in America this fall.

And, JLSC4, you are correct.....the folding-top Tiburon will likely be more reliable than its Mercedes competition. And where is an M-B product with a 10-year drivetrain waranty?

It's hard to find good websites of this car in the U.S., but try this one:

www.auho.com/contents/cars/Hyundai-Equus.shtml#

Looks a bit like the older style LS400's.

the car doesn't look bad at all...
Another Hyundai that i thought was nice was the XG350....
not really potent but the interior actually looked good... very quiet as well....

As much as I hate to admit that Tiburon looks damn good.

Speaking of Tiburon's this is the best looking one I've seen to date. I really don't like them at all but this one is hot....

agreed that one is amazing. i usually dont like them, that one pulls it off, kinda looks like a 350z and supra combined. it may just be me though.

Hyundai's bread and butter cars are a turn-off, but the Santa Fe and Tiburon impress me. Hyundai could sell these like hot cakes, a hard-top convertible for under $25K!

Default Tiburon

What is there to not like about the look of a Tiburon? Even out of the box it has a nice look. Heck, I'm tempted to take one for a test drive. Can't be any worse than the RX8 I tested and it surely looks better to me. Looks better than a lot of cars...a whole lot of cars.

The RX8 I drove had less torgue than you'd expect from this type of car. SInce it's not much faster than a Tiburon and doesn't look better either, why not consider the Tiburon. I know...the name Hyundai. My wife is the same way.

Tiburion is cool, that black one looks great. The RX-8 is on another level. It has now beaten the G35 coupe in 2 different magazines. The interior is great, the backseats ain't bad, you got a rara rotory engine and stunning looks, love or hate.

IMO, RX-8> any Hyandai
