I have a Porsche Turbo, a SC400, a highly modded 325i, and a Merc.............. and i STILL wouldn't have ran the RSX with any of them. ('specially not the merc 
) . Why? because the rsx was on serious boost as the story goes. The bimmer was (basically) STOCK (minor mods).
.............um.......... idiot alert.....
My buddy has a boosted RSX and that thing is amazing. He can pull me off the line in my Porsche with authority. (from a roll is a different story). Knowing what a boosted one runs like..... i definately wouldn't have tried it in an (almost) stock M3, much less talked THAT MUCH SMACK and then not paid.
If i go to ATL and run some of the SELOC boy's like Gavin (which would be suicide) or Jamie (another suicide run) and got beat, I'd hand the $$ over no matter what.. truck pulled in front of me, cat was crossing the road.. .etc... who cares, that's how life works. better luck next time.
Best idea for him would have been to
A- Shut up.
B.- Went to the track in the first place
C.- Bought a boosted RSX.
