When I think of Corvette, I think of "clueless blue/grey-collar middle-aged cheesey white guy with a little money trying to be cool and young-again playing old bad rock & roll music dream car."

As a kid, I got 4 tickets for driving 100+. I'm glad it happened before the laws got tougher. Fortunately, in those days you could pay theticket right there on the spot and I was fortunate to have parents who kept money in my pocket. These tickets cost over $100. One was almost $200...I was going about 115 mph on that one. In case you're wondering when I was a kid, I'm talking college in the late 70's early 80's. I still drive fast on the highway but not for extended periods. I'll hit 100 then back off. If I had a vette or engine mods, I'd be in jail. This is the main reason why I'm happy with stock motor, I don't trust myself.

 

nop, cops sometimes can stop all of you. i have seen cop going all the way left and right on the freeway stopping all traffic and pulled over 3 cars at the same time (opened his window and indicated the cars to pull over)

 

Hahahaha, that is pretty funny.
Thank god I have the autobahn pretty close by when I feel the need to speed.

What's with this state?

HP's who can pull over 8 vettes in a single bound, mice who like to live in Lexus luxury, and governors who wrestle and rip the politcal system. This state sounds fun!

 

of course our cars can get to 100mph no problem, i was saying we can't get to 160mph or so to really enjoy that road
