There are SO MANY fake Supra sellers on eBay/AutoTrader/Recycler and any other online sites it's not even funny.
I've seen 97 Supra turbos going for $4000, $8000, $9000, those are all fake. A 97 Supra Turbo with less than 100k can sell for at least $25k and it would be sold in a few days. if you can really buy it for $8000 I'll buy it for you for $20k haha.
Those people who sell fake Supras don't have a clue. A guy on eBay was selling a 98 Supra TT, quicksilver 6-speed with no mods. I look at the pics, it's a 96 or older because it's got the pre-97 headlights/taillights, it's just silver not quicksilver, AUTOMATIC, with exhaust and intake. I emailed the seller and he said oh those mods are stock parts. I asked about manual and auto problem and he didn't answer my e-mail.
Once you bid on one of those fake Supras they'll take ur money and leave.
So I suggest seeing and driving the actual car before buying it.

be careful... there is a scam on Autotrader.dot with supras right now. I was looking around (as i always am) for a supra, and there is a 700hp single supra for sale on autotrader for $21k, but on Suprastore.com it goes for $45k. 97 like 36k miles. i sent the seller a question and got back his response saying he wanted $10500 just to test drive the car... blah blah blah. Its a scam bro...

Damn, hope it works out for you though! If a Supra TT MANUAL was going for sale at that price heck I'd buy it and have it shipped to Australia, would work out cheaper than importing one from Japan!! hehehe

request a minimum deposit of 50% ($10,500) (FULLY REFUNDABLE)
2) We will use an escrow service which will take care of this deposit.
My lawyer advised that through an escrow company is the best way to
close expensive deals.

Let's get this straight, the guy moved to the USA 6 months ago and gets a 97 Supra from his now ex-wife as a gift? LOL, I got some land to sell in the Atlantic, it's ocean front property too.
