I guess lexus doesn't break that much, so he has no interest in it.

yeah, if he owns a Lexus, those tools would never get used, except for mods.

Thanks bud. That's really nice field stone work. I probably won't go with that kind of stone, because real field stone work is expen$ive and the look depends a lot on the installer.

Oh and I e-mailed that guy (ultimategarage) about the stone and he got right back to me. Very cool.

Are you considering an F40 as well?

Uh no. I couldn't afford to finish a garage that way, let alone buy a Ferrari to put in it!

Ummm....beautiful setup.

Looks too neat tho....like its only for show.....maybe the owner is a neat freak....every wrench and socket in its proper place.....reminds of that movie....Sleeping With The Enemy w/ Julia Roberts.

wow! i love the stonework. i would love to have that someday. the way the driveway curves to conceal the activities in and around the garage is a super nice touch.

...You're absolutely right. I never use anything less than 9' wide doors on projects these days. The project posted here was a remodel and 2 of the bays already had 8' entrances which I left alone. The new workshop bay door was limited to 9' because there will be a lot of noise when cars are running inside and the smaller opening was easier to deal with acoustically.

I do wish I had more space but the garage size was limited in size so it would not overpower the house (plus I had my wife to deal with). Unfortunately, some of the cars have to remain outside if the shop is tied up with a project. SD
