Waterfest 2004 (VW/Audi show) Lots of Pics!
Hey guys, I know your probably wondering what the heck I was doing at the largest VW/Audi show on the east coast right? LOL I was invited by iForged to attend the show to network, meet and greet, etc etc. I had a good time hanging out with Vince and Steve from iForged, they are some really cool guys. They shared some really good tidbits with me, and I learned alot about VW/Audi wheel/tire applications! (like how to run a staggered fittiment on a 4wd car!)
The show was awesome, and I wasnt even there for the largest show day! Saturday was a vendor exhibition day, the real show and shine was on Sunday. Nontheless I got a chance to see some great rides. Those VW/Audi guys are dedicated, they came from as far as Indiana (plates that I saw), New Hampshire, etc. I was headed down from MA and passed a convoy, when I got to the show, I met the guys and was talking to them, when I said I drove a GS400, they were like "oh that was YOU in the gold car on the highway!!!!" Felt pretty good, to say the least The VW/Audi guys as a whole were very nice, I got lots of thumbs up and video/digi cams waved at me on the way to the show! I kinda thought they would be like "Who bought the rice burner to a kraut convention?"
Check out some of these awesome rides, I will start with my 2 favs.
Here is a Audi S4 wagon, the car has H&R coilovers, 20x8.5fr/9.5rr BBS LMs, 245/30-20 Pirelli Pzeros and exhaust (i think Carecture?). This thing just looked beautiful in person, I never knew 20" wheels could fit on the A4 platform, but man this thing was sitting so mean over them!!! Very simple, but very beautiful, this was the car that made me wish I wasnt so damn tall, so I could buy a S4!!! LOL
Sorry for the sunspot in somep pics

Here is my second fav, a Pearl White A4 with the sport Aero Package, HR lowering springs, and 20x8.5" iForged Sprints in gunmetal finish.
This car was just so smooth and beautiful in person, I swear it was glowing. I had no idea the wheels were 20", I just thought they were the best looking 19s in the world. Based on this car, I think gunmetal and white can be a winning combination when paired up correctly. I must have walked pass this car 5-6 times, the owner was a real cool guy from LI too.

This was my fav Golf, the Porshe Turbo-esque bumper was the nicest bumper out there! and the black DTM wheels were really nice too.
Nice Toureg with 21" BBS and lowering module

Great pics D. Looks like there was a lot of eye candy there.
Do you have any pics of that red TT with the red wheels that's in the background of the white A4? My friend at work just got one and I'd love to show him what he could do with it.
