Whatever it is - those are 20+ inch wheels .... no way Chrysler's putting anything less on that car.

If the stock 18's require 60 aspect ratio tires ... then 20's would require a respectable tire setup ... maybe 2xx - 50 - 20 performance tires.

This current 300C "touring sedan" business is a joke. That stock wheel/tire setup looks awfully squishy to me.

I've already heard a few complaints about the 300c. This lady was saying that her interior lights will go on and off while she is driving. This one guy at work who has a 300c has a taillight that has gone out already. It's nothing serious, but it's a new car so these things shouldn't be happening.

What I have gathered is it will have a supercharged Hemi with 400-plus HP, All-Wheel-Drive as an option,
and maybe some frame-stiffening devices.
Mercury had better get cracking with some improvements and updates to the Marauder. If it doesn't, my prediction is that a supercharged 300C is going to drive that car out of buisness. In fact, there are rumors that the Marauder is already living on borrowed time.

Marauder is *dead*. The last one was built a little while back. But there's nothing a little aftermarket can't cure! There are several Supercharger kits for the Marauder that will get you to 400 RWHP cheaply. ;-)

OTOH... I like the look of this 300C.. Yummy wheels... Very nice...

Not surprising.....as I mentioned, the Marauder was on borrowed time at best.
Maybe the 300C will inspire GM to bring back a REAL Impala SS, not just the front-drive blown 3.8

Yeah - that's the most terrible thing GM has done as of late in my opinion. The SSR or SST or whatever that dumpy little truck-pod-thing is called is pretty bad, but the FWD Impala is just totally uncalled for. I thought they were going to have the good sense to keep the SS badge dropped until they brought it back on a proper platform ... but alas ... the good sense and sense of shame was absent and along it came for 2004/2005. Oh well.

Man an SRT Sedan 300C is very tempting... Overall the 300C is a very nice looking domestic.

That white 300C looks pretty sick. The mesh grill is obviously made to look a Bently's.

Genearch,
What do you mean the 300C is a POS? This is the best America has to offer, especially for its price.
It offers the most power, size, and high end styling in it price range and is built with quality whether you believe it or not.

So what's your argument?

I think that white car looks very garish, from the wheels to the grill to the mirrors/pillars, not to mention the dump truck height. The 300C is one of those "Its ugly but I like it cars". Now take a black one, put some classy 22" wheels on it, lower it (ALOT), and tint the windows and you are off to a good start. The white one has gone in the total wrong direction. Reminds me of 80's Cadillacs

I agree, the 96 Impala was a hit. I have never been much of a domestic guy, but there was some music video called 'Burbans and Impala's back then. The guy had a black one with 20" Lorinser D-93's and it was lowered with black tint. I really developed a small soft spot for those big ole cars after that video! LOL

For whatever is good or bad about the current crop of American cars, they are getting a WHOLE lot better (Caddy Sigma series, etc etc), makes for a much more heated competition and better product across the board for the buying public!
