My friend just got a 840i a month ago
he paid 25k out the door with a warranty on the engine and trans
He's already had problems with the electrical
BTW: anyone have links to any chevy powered 8 series cars?

Just joking man, the 8 series is a beautiful car, I've always liked them. Rare car as well, aside from those mechanical issues I would jump on one if given the opportunity.

I would drive it for a few weeks
sell it
buy another SC
and have money left over to upgrade all over again.
