we were debating between the acura tl and the es also, the tl is more sportier and would have been a better buy for myself, but for my mom we bought the 2005 es instead, the interior is beautiful, i really like the new tailights also, the car does drive really smooth but i had some hard shifts with the tranny on the way home from the dealers, drove it the next day and it was gone. hopefully it doesnt come back. i really really like the tl, the only problem was that there isnt enough inventory, i didnt want navi and there was only one in so cali with out navi and it was black, also these are selling almost for msrp while i got the price knocked down over three grand for the lexus.

 

I was @ the Lexus dealer last weekend and saw this in person - it actually looks better than the 2003/4 year IMO

Lexus trannys deliberately rev high on part throttle and shift kinda hard 2-3 when the car is cold. This is to warm it up quicker which makes the cat work better and lower emissions.

Wow those are certainly the best-looking 19" wheels on the current ES if I've ever seen one!

 

That black ES330 makes me want one ... very nice suspension (height), wheel, color - everything ... nicely done!
