Several of the local Chevy dealers here in Dallas had a similar sales gimmick a few months ago. Buy any new 04 Vette, Tahoe, or Suburban, and get an 03 Cavalier for free...

I don't think it worked well for them, and considering incentives on Vettes, Tahoes and Suburbans are between 8 and 10K off MSRP, I think I'd take the rebates and buy something nicer than a Cavalier

This is good for a couple with a kid about to start college or something like that....or a kid in high school who's responsible....

Thats what I was thinking. Two college freshmen can get together and buy two sentras for dirt cheap or grab an altima and a sentra, trade it back in for another altima or a better car and split difference
