Lexus has discontiniued certain engine options when they redesigned some of the cars.

is in response to the following:

QUOTE: they havent discontinue any models from LEXUS line up yet, have they? i m not really sure tho.[/QUOTE]

That's why I thought you're confusing the 2 Good that you've made it clear now.

1) Tercel
2) Supra
3) Cresseda
4) Sprinter
5) Corona
6) Paseo

Does this mean that toyota is a FAILURE? No!
Whats a damned shame is when a car is discontinues on the peak of it's carreer. The supra for example was more sought after than ever when they stopped makin them.... and on a domestic scale, the Caprice/Impala SS was finally perfected with the LT1 V8 and GM pulls the plug.

But yes... alot of cars are discontinued just because "ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!"

Exactly. if a company discontinues a product it does not mean that the company is failing. After toyota discontiniued the supra it got richer, not poorer (but has a weaker image among car enthusiasts).

I had a great holiday weeked and just when I thought it was over, I nearly rolled out my chair and had the monitor fall on my face with reading the ES and SC were discontinued. OMG....

Well explain this people.
Lexus will offer the IS still, NOT DISCONTINUED in coupe, sedan, vert and wagon forms and I still specluate offereing a V-8.
Lexus will still offer the ES 330, like it or not, sells to it's target audience

Infiniti TRIED that same formula with the G35 and I 35

And well, again, didn't work.

Thread is closed, facts are simply ignored in this thread.
