Thumbs down

To me it looks awfully cheap for a BMW. I know it was made as an entry level car but geez. Fugly.

well, if they decide to make an "///M " version of it, it better be able to live up the name... The M1 is an awesome machine with a Jet engine... what is BMW going to give it?????

Well, it's probably the best (or the least offensive) design that Chris Bangle has come up with yet.

And.................NO I-DRIVE !

Yeah - I've really got no problem with the exterior of the car.

The interior, however, as I mentioned before, is inexcusably disgusting. I'm going to go ahead and say that it looks worse than the interior found in my Sentra.

I think the exterior is quite offending personally. It looks like a wagon Z4 IMO. I pray they do not make an M1. No way can this weakling of a wagon share the same name with the legendary beast.

Awesome car, and I feel very lucky to have seen one in person.

an ugly car...but that is fitting for current BMW styling.

the last gen BMW shape was great. Now it is junk. IMO of course

Gotta remember, though.....this car was not meant to have a Maybach or Rolls-Royce interior. What it was really meant to do......besides compete with the Audi A3, Saab 9-2X, and Volvo S40, was to be a modern replacement for the long-gone 2002...a car noted for its no-nonsense stark interior.

Chris Bangle, for the first time in his BMW career, may have actually earned his paycheck.
