talgrl...the gauges that you posted here are NOT from that Scion xA. ( unless they were somehow retrofitted). They appear to be from a Toyota Matrix or a Pontiac Vibe. The Scion xA that you pictured has center-mount gauges, just like the xB.

yup nothing gets passed by u guys. i was really excited about the fact that matrix has an electric plug in the car, ! gotta make life a lot easier... so when i'm running late and forgot to charge the cell, i can just toss the home charger into the car. what a great idea. and the tri-pod gauge ..., i just love them. not exactly the gs thing, but very reminising of it

I have a car charger

I am actually more concerned because women now have a place to plug in a curling iron. (don't think for a second they won't do it)

Yes, I noticed that too....figured it had to be the V V T i engine.
I can remember when even Formula 1 engines didn't turn that kind of RPM. Now they do 12,000 all race long.

and hair dryer.

S2000 dropped the red line for new 2.2 engine but output is the same thanks to large 200cc displacement.

you need to rev so high to get max output and you start seeing the check engine light flashing..

i think matrix XRS has around 170 hps above 7500 rpm and only 125 ft lb of tq
