In Australia (I don't know where else?) it's known as an Accord Euro.

We dont have the brand Acura here. So most Acuras get rebadged as Hondas here.
It was a strange move, but Honda Australia decided to bring in 2 versions of the Accord this time. The Euro (pictured), and the V6 Luxury (the fatter, bigger one made in Thailand). 2 completely different cars, both Accords...
And as far as roads go, ours are pretty bad. Sydney is the worst, but melbourne aint no picnic either! My guess is that these guys just cop the hits and repair them every month??? As Jose said, most are international students who get everything paid for...

Yeah, most of these kids haven't even hit 20 years old yet, freshman or soph at colleges (very typical of international students...), also cars in australia are about 50% more expensive than in the US, but they do get more choices through grey imports and if I recall correctly from the stories my brother told me, modding parts also don't come too cheap over there...
...so yeah, these kids have it made for em.....
