Default Jakarta's biggest show of the year: Autosalon 2004

Ok, guys...apparently this season, scissor doors and widebody is in. Autosalon Jakarta is organized by the hugely-popular Australian Autosalon team so it's bigger, better, more powerful and definitely a lot crazier cars.....Check out some of the highlights:

Widebody, scissor-door Supra:

Veilside Fairlady: (The whole car is imported directly from Veilside Japan)

Slammed SL500:

Skyline R34 coz we just love 'em so much:

This Civic is built by the same shop that built my car. It was supposed to be the Indonesian replica of the Osman Brother's choptop Subaru Impreza in Australia. The steering column has been moved to the middle, as well as the driver's seat, and the shifter has been moved to where the old driver's seat used to be. You can't even begin to imagine the amount of work that went into the making of this car. This car is FULLY DRIVABLE!!!!

Gotta represent the Scions (we call 'em Ist here):

My buddy's own E46 Racing Dynamics. He did the whole shebang with paddle shifter conversion and SMG-style shifting, as well as the very very very rare Racing Dynamics upgrades:

Widebody, lambo-door, crystal-flake-paint S2000...like whoa:

Choptop RX-7 and only single-driver F-1Style seating:

Now you guys can see a glimpse of how we mod over here halfway across the world.....

I got more pictures that I can upload later if you guys are interested in seeing some more....

Here are some more, since you guys like 'em...

Here's the interior of that wild RX-7 choptop:

Chameleon paint RSX Type R:

I don't even know what the original car was (BMW angel-eyes 5 series headlights conversion, choptop, widebody, etc....):

Next to the guys above, our dear Altezza just simply looks so....unassuming:

I "think" this used to be a Toyota Corolla Altis (the higher-end Corolla model):

Check out the lips on the 20x12 Garson wheels on this widebody SLK made by the shop that made my car:

In my excitement, I forgot to show you guys the pictures of the ONLY aristo on display. Remember my friend with the IMC kit way back in the day? Well he added a whole bunch of strange new stuff that I kinda hate....sometimes, things become such an overkill when overdone.... blah....

Check out the trunk...ahh someone poke my eyes out....

Thanks for sharing Jon. Definitely correct me if I'm wrong but the hood doesn't look closed. Those eyebrow enhancements make the gap line too noticeable. Yes, my eyes are hurting too with that last picture.
