Thumbs up Nice Azz....!

Nuff said.... 2005 Carrera

Although, the new 911's front end is kinda wack IMO. The whole "retro throw-back" doesn't work for ALL cars.

Although I still think it's more of the same boring style they ' ve kept for so long for this model, I do like the new 997 better than the current 996, both front & rear. I'm sure it'll be a great sports car

The day they change the "same boring style" is the day it will no longer be a 911.

I won't mind if they do it the same way as the Ferrari's 308 ->328 -> 348 -> 355 ->360 ->430 , still gradual change of the same basic shape, but more interesting IMHO.

Sorry. There is no way I would ever see some 355 in the 430 or vice versa, not even in basic shape. I don't think it's right to suggest there is any sort of evolution there.

I do see evolution between F355 ->F360, & F360 -> F430, maybe you think 355 & 430 don't resemble enough, but that's the idea, that's the reason I think the changes in this Ferrari series is more interesting than what they did with the Porsche 911's for decades.

The Ferrari 3xx series has always been in numerous head-to-head comparison tests with the 911's since the 70's, & whether you think the F430 is an evolution from the F355 or not, you can bet there will be head-to-head comparison tests between the F430 & this new 997 Porsche.

They didnt change the car as much as they did with i guess 995 to the 996. I think looks better front and rear also and the interior is a major upgrade. It looks a little more sporty while the 996 was very conservative. But everytime they update it I always think of how in the heck are they gonna improve on the design the next time. Really, after the 997 how in the hell are they gonna make the 998 look better than the 997? Ive asked myself the same question for the 995 and 996. Where do you go after this? How do you change an already great design into a greater design? I thought the saying was "If it isn't broke, then why fix it".

997 is okay to me. I prefer 996. If i wanted the 911 to look like the 993, I'll just buy a 993. Interior is better but reminds me of a luxury sedan, not a sports car.
