I have to agree Sick - that QX56 is just unacceptable.

No matter how you slice it - that truck is just plain gross.

I must say though that the current Bonnie takes the ugly cake - from what I've seen - for all time.

Well they already have the LS1-powered GTO that's RWD and rather potent. Are you saying that a flagship sedan is in the works as well?

At 32k, the GTO is the most expensive Pontiac (flagship status, no?) but what you get for the money is a lot IMO. RWD, 5.7 liter LS1 and a 6-speed tranny. Plus, you get the nicest interior Pontiac has ever put out. Why can't their other cars follow suit?

Something went right with this one when compared to the others.

So what happened to the others like this Bonneville? It honestly feels like this car was designed by someone else because it doesn't fit very well within the family of Pontiac cars.

It's also the least offensive on the outside compared to the others.

This is one Pontiac that would not kill me to own. Why are the rest so far from this??

The LS1-GTO is slightly better, but what's with the red-green Christmas tree theme?
They need to do what Kia is doing, copying other makers and making it more presentable.
Can't they hire better interior designers???

This is somewhat a vicious cycle for them, b/c in order to cut the cost down-best bang for the buck, they need to cut the quality down. When quality is down and this ugly, nobody (nobody assuming the majority of car enthusiasts like us CL members...) buys their product.....and so on. But, BIG BUT, there are other cars out there within this price range that are 10X better looking with better quality also . I guess I don't understand the thinking of the Pontiac People

I think thats because its not really a Pontiac, but a Holden Monaro with badge engineering. But they are getting a little bit better with there interiors. The G6 doesnt look all to bad, but still dont like those big funky buttons that they are known for. LOL, remember the old school Grand Prix, that had like 20 buttons on the steering wheel? This was before the airbags became standard. Probably 1993-94 or so. My neigbor had one I would luagh all the time.

Here's one: 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. Notice the rest of the interior. They sucked then and they sucked now.

You CAN'T be serious. I am beside myself. I don't know what to say...I could have never ever imagined something that incredibly stupid...

Man this is just sad. Sorry for people who actually shelled out any money for this poor excuse for an automobile.

The GTO interior is the best GM has. I don't care who makes it. It's wonderful.

Agreed 1sick, the GTO is great inside, out, chassis, engine, everything. The buttons on the steering wheel were on the 89 Turbo Trans Am too, I almost got one and woulda felt 80's-fabulous driving around.

A high-school kid totalled a brand-new one last week just a few blocks from my house drag-racing.
Killed himself and another student. Sad...very sad.
