no need for torque since there are 7 "clutchless" gears, you'd have to be pretty lazy if you can't switch gears. I dont think that setup will even allow too much torque
gobs of torque will just lead to a heavy drivetrain, and at the track too much torque will be a hassle.
usually low rpm, high tqr engines Viper, Corvette, domestic cars, they run out of steam as they redline, and they have a heavy gearbox.
Enzo only makes 485lb-ft at a lofty 4800rpm.
