Mx6
I thought I would share this. http://www.garageworks.741.com/MX6.htm
This is my younger cousin's car, he bought it to buy, fix, and sell. Now he is keeping it, not that I blame him. I helped him with the instal of the KLZE (J-spec V6 200HPcompared to the USDM 164HP), and other misc things. Nothing special but fun to drive none the less.

The MX6 was very similiar to the Ford Probe...they were built on the same platform and in the same Flat Rock, MI assembly plant.
I drove Mazdas for years (1984-95) before going to Toyota / Lexus products. For the money, they were some of the best drivers' cars on the market, in spite of the fact that the sedans and coupes were mostly FWD. They had a steering and handling feel that was similiar to a lot of BMW's, even with FWD......in fact, I used to call them the "Poor Man's BMW". Their reliability was (and is) generally better than average...not quite to Toyota / Honda standards....but the automatics are a little jerky-shifting sometimes.

Yeah, I used to have a 1994 Probe GT, 2.5L V6. It was my first car to pump thousands of dollars into. It wasn't anything to special but it would hold the 2.7L TT S4's from a roll. The look on someones face who owned a $30K sedan who thought it was bad *** and couldn't pull a $2K college car is pricelss.

Until just a couple of months ago I still had my 94 MX6 that I bought out of college. It had been my winter and beater car for the last couple of years. I enjoyed the car, but I have to admit I was disappointed with the reliability. It never left me stranded, but at 115K it had LOTS of small things going wrong with it and felt like it was falling apart. By comparision, my GS400 has 105K and feels very new. Of course, I am comparing a car that costs twice as much...
