i also test drove a TL before, i definitly agree with the HP the car has, but the one that test drove was a AT, and when i started to play with tiptronic, it was all bad, the tranny responds was soooooo BAD, it react like 1/2 to 3/4 of a second later. i like the car in general, but will not buy that car if i have the money. maybe since i m not a acura or a honda fan no more.

I take it you have never driven a tiptronic/steptronic car before? Cause my BMW had a lag similar to what you say and so did my friends GS400 - hint most do that. So to be honest, I don't miss the feature in my GS430. Cause if it had it, it would work just like it does in the TL.

Yeah, i havent drove the TL AT, but I have driven many others that have the tiptronic thing, and they have been very slow in shifting also. All Volvos have this problem. The S60R has lag but not as much. VW Jettas/Passat have a lag, new Maxima does also, Crossfire, i think the IS does also(very faintly remember, someone would like to verify?)325i. Those are the only cars that I can remember off the top of my head that I test drove.
