Very sad.
A place like that doesn't have a fire supression system?
On top of that adequate insurance

no fire codes in the netherlands...you'd think the architect would be a little more responsible with a project liek that.

Mike, that list is not complete.
The most expensive loss in the fire was a 250GTO.
Total there where allmost 60 cars lost.

Very sad. Some of those cars can't be replace such as the 250GTO and 3 of the F40.

Sheep happens and it's unfortunate to say the least...this to me is irresponsible. Saving some money by not having a fire suppression system installed in a building that houses this level of investment is beyond reason. That's not to say a sprinkler system would have alleviated all this, possibly it may have helped slow the progress of the fire so that fire crews could have had a better chance at saving parts of the structure and contents. Anyway...that's not the siituation so it is a live learn scenario...very painful.

It will be interesting to learn what the investigation unfolds.

Ouch!

There is a Ferarri/Maserati dealership right around the corner from my work (Ferarri/Maserati of Orange County), they're only a fraction of that dealership that was damaged.
