Not feeling it at all. We've seen several chrome cars lately, a Jag, a Benz, now a Bimmer. As much as I love chrome there is something called overkill.

Yes....that reason alone would keep a car like that out of the general market. DOT won't even allow chrome wiper arms anymore because of driver glare....that's why all original factory-equipment ones in the American market are either flat or low-gloss black. True...you can get lollipop-colored ones aftermarket, but even THEY are pastel low-gloss colors.
I liked the first thread, but these are nasty. The pain, chrome whatever the hell it is looks dingy and not kept at all. I'm sure that kit on a REGULAR E46 with some nice polished iForgeds would be to die for, but yes, too much of a good thing can be a BAD thing.
