Yeah, I think SICK had posted some pics of the car being built.

Based on the flares, looks like the same car.

Default chrome cars

Not feeling it at all. We've seen several chrome cars lately, a Jag, a Benz, now a Bimmer. As much as I love chrome there is something called overkill.

That was at SEMA along with a few other cars along the same theme. Very different...talk about blinding in the sun!

Yeah, the car has TONS of orange peel in person- it looks like somebody sprayed the paint with a Windex bottle... too bad.

The wheel fitment was lousy, too. This car has the Flossman kit (through Eisenhaus) with iForged wheels.

Yes....that reason alone would keep a car like that out of the general market. DOT won't even allow chrome wiper arms anymore because of driver glare....that's why all original factory-equipment ones in the American market are either flat or low-gloss black. True...you can get lollipop-colored ones aftermarket, but even THEY are pastel low-gloss colors.

I liked the first thread, but these are nasty. The pain, chrome whatever the hell it is looks dingy and not kept at all. I'm sure that kit on a REGULAR E46 with some nice polished iForgeds would be to die for, but yes, too much of a good thing can be a BAD thing.
