Uburau used as a ramp
This happened to my friend's uburau..talk about pretty stout!
"Some of you have seen these already. For those that haven't....
This happened Friday on the way home from work. Guy in a Chevy Silverado pickup decided to make an illegal left out of the 8th street WalMart exit. Subaru in the way? No problem, drive over him. That's his pickup in the background in the second picture. I was able to drive it home and no leaks either. We'll see what the damage is in the next few days."

Wow. Peeled the fender off like a can of sardines.
No airbag deployment or any major frame damage *it seems*.
Must see under hood to see exactly what happened. Surely there's some cosmetic engine damage or broken plastics (intercooler), etc... Shouldn't be that much of a big deal but could add up real fast.

Seriously, how do you encounter another automobile and continue to drive OVER it? I would be irate! Props to the subie, though. And where does Uburau come in? Just wundrin. .

I think the guy in the truck was driving like an *** and gunned it out of the parking lot w/out paying attention. Fortunately for my friend, the windshield was missed, and he is okay. He was impressed how he could drive it home.
Btw, THAT WAS IN COLORADO NOT TEXAS

The Ubaru (i.e. read ubber and which i misspelt in the topic) is just a knock on the guys who drive the WRXs was past their abilities as drivers. As for my friend, he definitely knows how to handle himself in his WRX and I have total respect for the guy. Obviously some driving had to have come in play for him not to have gotten creamed by the truck.
