I really like that white LS - however I'm not feeling those little gills on the sides towards the front...

rl9905... I am well aware of the IS430 that has been making the rounds at car shows and whatnot... however that was a one off model produced by RMM (Lexus contracted them to do the job...), and as far as I know, that is the only one in existence.

More likely than not that "IS430" in the first post is just a fake badge job... if it was real you can bet the hood would be up. No reason to hide all that work.

 

Everyone knows about that custom RMM IS430 with that ugly paintjob. Is there going to be a real one?

And man,I never realized LS430s can look so sick when modded correctly. That white LS is although the "gills" are questionable. Are those Scaras?

 

Davar, the IS 430 in the first pic was on display by a Lexus dealership. There were also test drives and such being offered (not that particular one on display) for the IS 430 from what I have been told, so I doubt it could be a badge job.

the black is430 is actually the first ever is430 ever made in the world, done by tte way back in 01 or early 02 i believe. it has the 430 engine from the ls430 and the auto tranny....

the rmm one i believe was the second running is430 i have seen.

there is another is400 made in the east coast, it also has forced induction and nos

there wasa supposed to be a is430 done in the west coast, but that's gone

Well, on the IS430 there is an exhaust on each side, while the regular IS300 has only 1 exhaust. Maybe looking at the exhaust might give a lil hint. So if the first picture was like a rebadge, then it might of have 1 exahust. Hmmm, okay i'm just saying what i think ... I did a comparison of my pic that i took (red IS430) and the IS300 on the lexus website. You can still be right thou, we may never know if it's a rebadge or not until u look under the hook

 

I wonder if thats a factory lip/kit on the ES and if it's, will it ever make it here

 

Definately wish I could've driven it. I agree with you on the keeping the hood open though.

hey rl9905, just wondering when did you to the SF auto show, coz i went there on the first day, and at the spot the put the 05 GS instead of the LF-C. man i completely missed the chance to take a good look at that car.
